VerseBand is a free Catholic devotional app built by Trending Apps. This page explains what information the app does and does not collect.

What VerseBand does not do

VerseBand does not require an account, and it does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data to any server. Everything you do inside the app — saints you save, verses you bookmark, reflections you keep, your Rosary and chaplet progress, your reading plans, your mood check-ins, your novena tracking — is stored only on your own device, using standard local app storage. Trending Apps has no access to this information and no way to see it.

Notifications

If you turn on Daily Verse reminders, the notification is scheduled and delivered entirely by your device's operating system. No notification content is sent through an external server to generate it.

Links that leave the app

A few places in VerseBand link out to services outside the app, each governed by its own privacy policy, not this one:

Support / donations: if you choose to support VerseBand, you're taken to an external payment page (such as Stripe). VerseBand never sees or stores your payment details — that information goes directly to the payment provider.
VerseBand Prayer Cards (verse.band): browsing or purchasing prayer cards happens on our Shopify store, verse.band, which has its own privacy policy governing that purchase.
Feedback email: if you email us with feedback or a bug report, we receive whatever you choose to send — your email address and message content — so we can respond. We use this only to help you and improve the app.

App store data

Apple and Google collect limited technical and diagnostic information as part of operating their app stores, independent of anything VerseBand itself does. That collection is governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.

Children

VerseBand does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because the app simply doesn't collect personal information in the first place — everything stays on-device as described above.
